Cameroon – FIFA Ranking: Indomitable Lions drop to 36th in FIFA July ranking
The indomitable lions moved four places
down in the monthly ranking by the world football ruling body released
on Thursday July 6.
Cameroon dropped four places in FIFA’s
latest World Ranking, following their ousting from the FIFA
confederation cup. July rankings put the Indomitable Lions on the 36th
spot, down from 32 last month. Cameroon is 5th on the African continent
after Egypt, Senegal, DR Congo and Tunisia.
Meanwhile, Germany have returned to the
top of the pile for the first time in two years following their
Confederation Cup triumph with Brazil and Argentina sitting in second
and third place respectively.
Andorra were the biggest movers in regards to points – up 177 – and are the biggest movers in terms of rankings – up 57.

They joined the likes of Peru, Northern Island, Congo DR, Curacao,
Mauritania, Poland and Iceland in registering their highest positions to
date.
