7th matriculation ceremony at UBa: students to be awarded scholarships

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ACMAR Media Group, Bony Dashaco, has promised to award
scholarships to students of the University of Bamenda (UBa) and also facilitate internships opportunities to students in a chain of companies.
Dashaco made the promise on Saturday, December 2, on the Campus of UBa in Bambili, while delivering an academic discourse during the 7th matriculation ceremony of the institution. The ACMAR Media CEO promised to create 40,000 jobs for young people, especially those from UBa and also promised to provide a campus radio for the university.
“Every year, I will also ensure that I create 1,000 entrepreneurs and provide them with funding. We need to take a leading position in Cameroon. We can do it. You are full of potentials,” Dashaco averred.
Earlier in her address, UBa Vice Chancellor, Professor Theresa Nkuo Akenji, warned the newly admitted students of the university to guard against stealing and destruction of university property.
She appealed to the students to be of good morals, keep to values and virtues that will lead them to success.
“You must respect your lecturers, administrative and support staff. They are all here because of you and without them, you will not be here. In the same way, you must respect all property of this university. Never carry away what does not belong to you. Never, for any reason, destroy university property,” she averred.
